vacuity...

Form is emptiness, and the very emptiness is form; emptiness does not differ from form, form does not differ from emptiness; whatever is form, that is emptiness; whatever is emptiness, that is form. The same is true of feelings, perceptions, impulses and consciousness.

Diamond Sutra, Buddha

As in the Buddhist Diamond Sutra, chaos can be found in order, and order in chaos. The organizing principle is the key. The organizing principle used in Systemic Solutions is an experience of integrity - a stable experience of connectedness, integration and purpose - an experience of self-as-system that does not diminish with passing time.

...being = existence; nothingness = absence of existence?

there is no one organizing principle. It depends on what one is talking about. The example of Systemic Solutions is the "integrity" of the system - that each part or function of the system allies with the others to produce a centralized outcome that is the purpose of the organization or project. Systemic Solutions is used a lot in business and much more in the Social Work field. There are many options and parts to the system. The goal of social work is to make a person self-sufficient, self-reliant and self-confident to be on his/her own.

The organizing principle of chaos, on the other hand, may be best explained with a glaring mistake on chaos from the movie "Jurassic Park."

There is a scene where Jeff Goldblum's character is trying to explain chaos theory to Laura Dern's character [actually he was really making a pass at her.] He pours a stream of water on the back of her hand and explains that the water slides off of her hand meeting no particular a priori circumstance and that each time he would do it the water would go in a different stream. This should have been the clue.

If it would not go in the same stream, what would make it that way? There are a myriad of variables in the explanation from the moisture content of Dern's skin, the blood vessel configuration on the back of her hand, the hair follicle pattern, etc, etc, etc.

Chaos has no variables. There is no a priori reasons. There is no experential input. It's order is not systemic as most constructs in the world purport to be.

Chaos is its own construct and its construct is chaos. This may be the "organizing principle" but it is based on feeling, perceptions, impulses and consciousness.
